Lilo was born and raised in La Paz, Bolivia, and moved to the U.S. at 19 to pursue higher education. She began her collegiate tennis career at Franklin Pierce University (Division II), where she was a key contributor to the team’s success, helping them win the NE10 Conference and East Regional tournaments during the 2021–2022 season. That year, the team advanced to the NCAA Division II Nationals, reaching the Elite Eight. Lilo later transferred to Providence College (Division I) to complete her master’s degree while continuing her tennis career. Over four years of competition, she earned North East Conference Second Team All-Conference honors in First Doubles, as well as Second and Third Singles.
