Born in Scotland, Scott Ballantyne began his private club career when he moved to the US in 2014. He began in Connecticut before quickly moving to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, where he worked at BallenIsles Country Club for six years, eventually becoming the Food & Beverage Manager. After moving to Pittsburgh in 2019, Scott worked at Longue Vue Club as Director of Dining before becoming the Hospitality Operations Manager at the world-famous Oakmont Country Club in 2022. Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife Elisabeth, particularly in the outdoors, as both are avid kayakers and hikers. Scott is also a big sports fan and attends as many live events as possible.
